Showcase Your Knowledge and Skills as a CDI Certified Professional
With support from the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH), the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) is working with disease intervention professionals to create the CDI exam. The CDI exam will give disease intervention professionals an opportunity to showcase their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
This section will soon guide you through the steps to becoming CDI certified. From exam registration to test-day tips, you’ll find everything you need to move forward with clarity. CDI certification will demonstrate your professional excellence and your commitment to advancing health in your community. Employers will see your value, and your community will feel the impact.

The candidate handbook, developed by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE), will include essential information you need to help prepare for the CDI exam such as testing logistics, how to request testing accommodations, ethics, and scoring information.
